[Giles hesitates for a long time over whether or not to make the next filter. Because what is he going to say? There's plenty he wants to say, but...
"Where do we go from here?" He doesn't know yet. Eventually, he starts with a safe question. Always the safe questions, nowadays.]

[There. Over and said.
Then, with the slightly manic voice of one who is determined to have a good day today, thank you, Giles directs his next question to the village at large.]
It's always so quiet after an experiment, isn't it? Unless we're having a maniac or two tearing up the place [and whoever you are, you injured his flatmate and he is not pleased] but I think we can all agree that isn't the sort of excitement this village needs more of.
So, Luceti. What on Earth do you do for fun between experiments? How do you keep yourselves entertained and not mad with boredom? Interests, habits, hobbies, jobs...I don't care how you distinguish them.
But if you don't mind sharing, I am curious.
[Because it is a consideration for him. He still has yet to find a replacement guitar in the shops, and while "The Boat" will probably occupy a lot of his time, it can't be his driving focus. The library is still...strange, to spend so much time in. While he hasn't ventured back to the Battle Dome in a while, he knows that will probably be equally odd. And he's fulfilled any obligations he currently has to Buffy.
Anyone looking to speak with Giles in person will find him sitting out behind CH7, poking around the Item Shop or the smithy for tools or a guitar, or, yes, in the Battle Dome. He spends a couple of hours refamiliarizing himself with the manual before he clumsily manages to start up a simulation.
Eventually, he chooses Hanselstadt, minus the civilians. It's the only place that comes to mind where he can really fight without putting his head in a bad place. And it should let him do some damage to vampires and monsters without malfunctioning the way scenarios set in Sunnydale used to.
A month without any serious combat has made him a bit rusty. And he fights with more ferocity than technique, now. That definitely needs working on.]
((ooc: Slowatus still in effect, especially since I'm working on event backtags, but hiatus has been pushed back for a week.))
