[So, hey, Luceti.
Giles is sick of you. Too much bad has happened with not enough good, and he went to a certain apartment in CH2 and beat down the dor with his tail when no one answered and found it empty.
He's had enough.
And he's learned how to breathe fire.
He has eight shots today and he intends to use them.
He's retained enough presence of mind around the rage not to go for people or buildings. But villagers will sporadically see comet like streams of fire shooting themselves up into the sky, or swathes of grass charred black and turned to dust. And Giles doesn't just limit himself to the village - he'll fly himself out to the desert or to the lake or to the ocean to rampage. He doesn't want to hurt people, he doesn't even want to draw attention to himself, but he also wants to scream and now he can do it with fire.
When he's not venting his anger with fire and tooth and claw on the scenery, Giles will usually be airborne. He's figured out how to land so far, and will really only do so when he has to. Now that he isn't colliding with bisons or hawks in midair anymore, he prefers flying. He's usually alone up there. And it's hard to think.
Villagers are free to come upon Giles testing his fire breathing and react accordingly or spot him as he makes slightly more graceful landing than he's been managing recently. Feel free to stare - he'll stare back and try to figure out who you are.
Come nightfall, he'll be restlessly pacing the village on patrol.
Giles will still be haunting CH7 with periodic checks in to House 7.The former Watcher is calm enough when he isn't scorching things. He's still not in the greatest of moods, but he does know better than to take it out on people.
Even so, certain people should probably approach with caution. You know who you are.]

airborne_giles . Timeline uncertain, except for the fact that this mentality really only takes hold on Tuesday, but I'm ruling that it also takes place chornologically "after" his thread with the Buffybot. Anyone who's tagged him as Day 3 specifically doesn't need to worry, those threads are still very much valid.))

You said that we should have dinner together one night. You and Dawn and I. A celebration, or a meeting, o-or a talk. Some good excuse to that effect.
And we should. Before one of us is next to be sent back.
((ooc: Giles will...probably hate himself for not thinking of that first if he finds out. Irrational former Watcher is irrational right now.))

Date: 2011-03-29 09:14 pm (UTC)[Jack is drunk, still, but the sight of that beast is enough to sober him slightly. It doesn't seem the violent sort. The pirate isn't all that fussed by terrifying large beasties, having been eaten by a kraken and all. They are what they are and have their place in the world, just as he does...and he's savvy enough to know that if the mystic beasts are eradicated, his kind will likely follow--thus goes the march of civilization and progress.
Anarchy is the only answer.
Jack decides that this beast deserves a bottle of rum, just for being what it is. He swings his steps toward the water, ready to deliver said bottle.]

Date: 2011-03-29 09:31 pm (UTC)He's flown a lot today, but it's nice out here by the lake so far away from anyone else. He isn't quite so tired as when he was crashing into things, but as amazing as flying is turning out to be it is exhausting after a while.
He smells that there's someone else there before he sees them. But then he whips round to face Jack and his suspicions are unfortunately confirmed.
Giles carefully swallows the fish in his mouth, so that he can growl as the pirate approaches.]

From:[Action] -- Oh man, I love you so much for the Repo reference.
Date: 2011-03-30 05:32 am (UTC).... A giant lizard. Interesting. This must be one of animals Booth had told me about.
Re: [Action] -- *bows* An amazing movie if ever there was one

...close enough.
Closer than "overlarge cat", certainly.
((ooc: Aw, but Giles would make a much better dad for Shiloh than Nathan would.))
Re: [Action] -- Agreed. However, I apologize if I'm intruding.

You would be..."Bones", then?

From:[action] wow it helps to hit the post buton.
Date: 2011-03-31 08:58 pm (UTC)So he understands, almost immediately, the frustration that's likely behind that flame.
He doesn't have the power to teleport to its origin any longer, nor the speed to get there within mere moments. Even so, his skill as a war god allows him to at least track the source, and when he finds Giles, he'll approach quietly--but not so much that his presence is undetectable. It be beyond his ability at the moment anyway, but Homura also doesn't wish to startle what he recognizes as a dragon. He's more than acquainted with the devastating effects of flame on mortal flesh, and thus reasonably lacks the desire to experience that burning first hand.]
Re: [action] No worries - LJ has been screwing with comments
Date: 2011-03-31 11:55 pm (UTC)Finally, he notes the movement out of his peripheral vision, and stares over at the god.]
Oh. Hello.
Was this your bush?
[action] lol, sadly, I can't blame lj. I actually forgot to hit the button.
Date: 2011-04-01 05:31 am (UTC)[Homura moves closer, enough to actually feel the heat of the fire against his skin. It's surprising how incredibly hot it is now, given the small size.]
Re: [action] ...okay then ^-^.
Date: 2011-04-01 10:01 pm (UTC)For the week, at least. [Giles watches Homura carefully as he nears the flames. The heat doesn't bother him, not right now, but he knows how hot it is compared with the landscape in general. He honestly doesn't want anyone getting hurt.]
